Welcome to the MOL Table
- What are the steps to get an authorization card on the new on-line system?
- Create an Atlantia Enterprise Logon (AEL) account:
- Visit one of the following web sites:
- Select "Request an Account" on the left hand side of the page.
- Complete the form and select "Register Account".
- Visit an MOL.
- For a renewal, show them your current authorization card and complete the form - note that fees are waived for the first year of the new system (2016).
- For a new authorization, complete the form and an official authorization as per Kingdom Law & Policy
- Wait to receive an automated email from the system.
- The copy of the form you received is your temporary authorization card and is valid for 90 days.
- The MOL must submit the form to the Kingdom MOL who must process it before you can print out your new card.
- If you go to print out your card before receiving an email, you will not be in the system and the card will show you as not having any authorizations.
- After receiving the automated email, visit https://authorizations.mol.atlantia.sca.org.
- Logon to the page using your AEL created in 1.a above.
- Select "Print your own auth card" on the left.
- This will open a PDF of your new card.
- Select Print (how this looks/works depends on your browser and/or PDF reader).
- You can use a laptop or desktop and "print" your card to Google Drive and pull it up on your phone via the Drive app, and it will render correctly.
- IDEA: Print out multiple copies of your card and stick them all over. Tape to the back of your helm, or inside your shield, or laminate and attach to your armour bag, etc.
- Can I use the email I received as my authorization card?.
- Yes. The email is designed to be a valid authorization card substitute.
- How long is my authorization good for?
- Four years from the date of renewal.
- My current card is expired. Can I still renew?
- If your card expired within the last four years, yes. Please follow the procedure above.
- I have a platinum card. Do I still need to renew?
- Yes. Your e-authorization card will reflect your platinum card number. In addition, later this year you will receive a new laminated platinum card.
- I do not have a platinum card, can I still get one?
- Yes! Platinum cards are still available for a $10 donation to the Kingdom Travel Fund. Please see a local MOL for assistance.
- Why are we implementing this system?
- Atlantia is following the example set by other kingdoms and moving to on-line authorization cards for several reasons.
- The new system reduces the kingdom's expenses by eliminating the need to print and mail authorization cards.
- This new system allows fighters to receive their authorization cards faster and without the risk of losing authorization cards in the mail.
- Also, we have reduced the amount of paperwork required by the MOLs office by combining the VOA and the temporary authorization card. This is not only environmentally friendly, but streamlines the authorization and renewal process.
- Once we get through this initial renewal of all fighters, in the future it will allow fighters to re-authorize online at no charge.
- In addition, the system will be able to send you an email reminder that your authorization is coming due for renewal and include a link to the renewal page.
- Why do I need another logon for this system?
- We looked at multiple options when designing the system. Issuing authorization cards inherently requires us to gather a minimal amount of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your modern name and email address. In order to protect your PII, we needed a level of security.
- Since Atlantia already has a login system in place, we opted to leverage it rather than creating our own, or forcing everyone to get a google/yahoo/etc. account as some other kingdoms have done.
- I like the old cards better. Can I still get one?
- Yes, for the standard cost of $5. Please ask the MOL assisting you to check the Mail A Card box on the VOA form.
- I dont have access to a computer or cannot have my information on-line. How can I get an authorization card?
- All of your information is stored securely on the kingdom server. However, we can accommodate you. Please contact an MOL for assistance. You will have to pay the $5 fee for a traditional authorization card.
- How can I report an error or other issue or get help?
- Send email to kmol@atlantia.sca.org
